I haven't went shopping in ages due to my house purchase, renovations, and new addition. I'm a freaking Ralph Lauren connoisseur thanks to ThaRula and my boy Cowans. I remember when myself, my wife, and ThaRula hit the mall with the sole purpose to turn heads in our new ish! Spending from 500 to 1000 dollars at a time we adopted my motto "SEE IT WANT IT BUY IT OWN IT!" It was influential in a sense b/c my boy JIOP didn't believe in buying expensive pieces but when he seen the effects he quickly jumped on board. With the birth of my latest angel I haven't been able to live up to my SHOPPERS CREED. What I hate about shopping now is that I have to shop consciously. I mean my freedom to splurge is what kept me sane when I walked in the mall. Saturday I went into that building expecting the harsh reality that I'm out of season/style! Now I try to stay far away from the fashion world b/c I'm broke in a sense. Me and my wife did a budget and we only had 500 dollars to spend TOGETHER! A shirt is 100 damn dollars what the hell imma do with 250 dollars? Now don't get me wrong a nigga love MARSHALLS and Outlet malls. On the contrary I will never buy that CHINA SHOP ISH! So I'm sad but I guess I will wait and save till I have enough to buy myself back to materialistic happiness!
