At work we were having a discussion and this guy brought up, " Are they
going to assassinate OBAMA b/c of his influence power or his race?" Has America "REALLY" accepted him?" I brought up how MLK had more
influence than the President! He not only rallied BLK PEOPLE but even
Caucasians and other races! I believe he died b/c of his popularity,
beliefs, influential speeches and acts not so much his race. So the
question was brought up. "Will Obama get assassinated?" I believe that is a
thought in all of our sub conscious. He is the new hope card and a wide
range of people follow him. So is he next to get knocked off or will
America accept this individual for who he is?

I used to worry about that, but that was initially. I think because of where the country is right now, people will embrace him. Besides, he goes out of his way to be the "American" president as opposed to a black president.

I don't see Obama getting popped. I really believe that america is ready for a change andthe only way we are going to get that is to get a realist in the office, Obama is a visionary, he speaks on things that can be seen, he doesn't talk just to talk, and that is why i honestly believe he is going to be president!

Nah, if they didnt shoot George W. Bush' dumb ass then, I don't think Obama has anything to worry about. I believe America really is ready for a change. Americans see how bad shit has gotten, and when stuff goes bad, they don't care much about race, they just want some change.
Look at 9/11 ... Before that we americans were walking around like our sh*t didnt stink, but as soon as the plane hit those towers. No gave a damn about race,background, gender, anything. Everyone came together. Tragedy tends to do that.
And this f*cked economy is a tragedy. Obama is all about Unifying everyone as one people. And people are diggin that.

Theres all to many falls "The Rock" Obama is going to take within the next four if he makes it through the election ( which i think he will). Unfortunately i think there are gonna be a couple attempts, and i think after one or two, the powers that be will 'miss' one threat. I have no doubt about it the way the media (influenced by politician-stuffed pockets ie. errbody at FOX)can outright attack him- something real like that is likely.. This is horrible for us to even think about it. However i understand that it is a possibility. I pray that that dosen't happen. I hope that when Barak does win that he will be considered the GREATEST PRESIDENT EVER. Regradless of race. Yes We Can!

Though it's a founded concern, I don't think he'll be assasinated. At least, not because he's black. After the mess left behind, by the G.O.P, our next President being black, isn't such a red flag. Besides, he speaks so well. XD
